YOGA CAN BE PRACTICED AT ANY AGE
Yoga involves the equal exertion of all parts of the body and does not overstrain any one part. Only in yoga can you keep both the body and the mind relaxed, even as you stretch, extend, rotate, and flex your body.

Yoga is particularly beneficial in middle age and after, it generates energy and does not dissipate it. With yoga one can look forward to a healthier future.

Unlike other exercises, yoga results in the concentration of immune cells in areas affected by disease, and therefore improves immunity. That is why the ancient sages called yoga a therapeutic as well as a prevenative science.

YOGA
Yoga is based on the process of physical (hatha yoga), mental (meditation) and breath control (pranayama), culminating in the direct experience of knowing ourselves. By practicing key postures, mindfully directing our muscles in a specific way, and using our breath to help us make that move, we learn to be aware of our bodies on a very deep level. Each experience reveals an attainment, a step along the path of yoga. By walking this path, you become familiar with it and can move steadily deeper. This is our goal in Yoga, to go deeper into our practice. Anyone proceeding any distance along this path cannot help but experience more joy and health. YOGA BASICS
This class is for anyone just beginning their yoga practice or anyone with chronic inflexibility, or recovering from an injury. Yoga props are used when appropriate and each posture is practiced with more detailed instruction, which also makes it suitable for anyone who wants a refresher course for fine tuning their yoga practice.

MIND, BODY & SOUL FOOD YOGA
Take a deep breath in the middle of your day. Feed the mind, body & spirit. Food for thought, body & soul with a take away light lunch from House of Java. RELAX YOUR BACK
An invaluable tool to have in your yoga bag. Ease daily back pain and pressure through exploring yoga postures that help stretch and strengthen the back. Bring your body into balance using principals of universal alignment. Learn poses that keep your spine supple and make your core strong. We will offer gentle modifications for moving beyond pain or injury.

INTERMEDIATE ASHTANGA FLOW
This invigorating class begins with spine neutralizing, slow movements warming up the spine and bringing the focus to the mat while engaging the breath. The vinyasa flow of the class involves finding balance in the body with down dog, king pigeon into full dragon followed by variations of sun salutation. We include a rich mix of standing balances and poses for opening hips like triangle, warrior two, side warrior, humble warrior, prasarita and horse with full surrender, side angle and side angle with variation in a lunge. The floor series provides added hip openers using dead bug and sciatica nerve/hip stretching moving into some abdominal work. Modifications are offered through the entire class.

POWER STYLE YOGA
An eclectic mix of music styles along with a heated flow are combined for an unequaled yoga experience unlike any class you've attended before.

RESTORATIVE YOGA
Designed to bring your body, mind and spirit to a state of blissful restoration through postures and breath. Reconnect with yourself and release the stresses of your day. Prepare your body to move into stillness. A wonderfully pleasant way to begin your evening.

YOGALITE
Key postures that improve flexibility and range of motion while building stamina and strength. Expanding the scope of your practice through increased body awareness, breath control and balance while utilizing modifications when appropriate. Great for people with physical and/or weight challenges too.

VINYASA FLOW
A collage of styles; blending Ashtanga, Hatha and Restorative Yoga for an enriching experience.

MEDITATION
Through the discipline of daily meditation practice, one can glimpse the inner stillness. In this stillness is the sweetness and serenity that exists continuously just behind the mind. Over time, the meditator becomes established in the peaceful presence of the meditative state. The meditator lives fully in the world, persistent in the happiness of this peaceful presence.

BABY BUMP PRE-NATAL YOGA
Learn breathing techniques to assist in relaxation preparing the body and mind for all stages of your pregnancy. Please consult your physician before practice.

KIDS YOGA
Children will build confidence and strength while releasing energy. Helps to bring balance and calmness to their day.

YOGA BILINGUE
Una clase en español e inglés para qualquier edad de persona con variada constitución física y con diversos grados de desarrollo físico.
A multilevel class for people of varying ages and degrees of fitness taught in Spanish and English.

PILATES
This class focuses on the core postural muscles that help keep the body balanced and are essential in providing support for the spine. Emphasis on awareness of the breath and alignment of the spine while strengthening the deep torso muscles which are important to help alleviate and prevent back pain. Elongates muscles building strength without muscle mass.

CHAKRA BALANCE YOGA
This class is designed to simultaneously stimulate the energy body and the physical body through yoga postures. It involves intention and channeling energy. Through these postures you will gain a more harmonious and balanced body. By the utilization of breathe, props, and relaxation techniques you can comfort the body as well as aid in the prevention of disease. "Where attention goes, energy flows!"

GENTLE YOGA
Providing strength and rejuvenation through gentle movement into postures designed to increase flexibility and promote stress relief. An enriching experience.

BELLY DANCING
Middle Eastern dance with beautiful energy flow.

PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
Individual or small group instruction is for you if:

  • For whatever reason, you don't yet feel confident to enter a class.
  • You would like to advance or deepen your practice.
  • You have an injury or disability and would like to learn modifications for postures so that you may practice without pain or fear of further injury.




Workshops participants require a 24 cancellation notification for 50% refund. A minimum number of participants may be required for workshop. Cancellations and substitutions may occur. Full refund of fees upon cancellation by studio.
